MONACO’s first-ever luxury watch exhibition bringing together many of the biggest names in Haute Horlogerie and Jewellery under one roof will open this week in the Hotel Hermitage.

The first edition of Top Marques Watches & Jewellery will be inaugurated in the majestic Salle Belle Epoque on Thursday 24th September.

Seventeen of the world's most prestigious Haute-Horlogerie and Jewellery brands will be showcased at the Monaco show, including Japanese pearl master Mikimoto, represented by Abate, who will be exhibiting rare pieces from its Princess Grace collection. A portion of any sales of this stunning jewel, which features a rose clasp fashioned after the 'Princess Grace Rose', will be donated to the Princess Grace Foundation – USA to advance the careers of young performing artists.

Other brands to be represented at Monaco's watch show under the high patronage of HSH Prince Albert II include world renowned watchmaker Patek Philippe. The participation of such an distiguished brand at the premiere edition of Top Marques Watches & Jewellery is a particular achievement for the event, being organized in collaboration with the private bank the Edmond de Rothschild Group.

Also exhibiting at Top Marques Watches & Jewellery are established Haute-Horlogerie brands such as Franck Muller, Bell & Ross, Cyrus Watches, Boucheron, Montblanc, Rebellion Timepieces and SuisseMecanica, whilst bespoke jewelers will be represented by Kapriss, Fred, Mikimoto, HD Rare and Unique, Akillis and Russian designer Elena Silvodaeva.

The show is being launched during the Monaco Yacht Show by the team behind Top Marques Monaco, a world-class supercar show held every April.

A number of high profile international brands such as superyacht leaders Burgess, Pieter Van Naeltwijck Real Estate Investments, Monaco Telecom and La Société des Bains de Mer are sponsoring the event, due to become an annual show like its supercar counterpart.

Top Marques Watches & Jewellery will also feature a fashion show by Parisian designer Sonia Rykiel, as well as a ‘Pop-up’ Casino during a private cocktail event courtesy of an exciting partnership with Le Casino de Monte-Carlo.

Press are invited to attend Top Marques Watches & Jewellery at any point during opening hours, from 12-8pm on Thursday, September 24th and from 10am to 19.30pm on Friday, September 25th. Press accreditation is not necessary.
